Jiminy Cricket! So Sorry About That, Cpl. Maxwell Klinger!

An apology. I leaped before I looked. Or wrote before I read.

I recently wrote that I name my tech devices after sidekicks in literature and popular culture. I said that my iPhone 4 was named for Cpl. Maxwell Klinger, the character on M*A*S*H.

Except my iPhone already had a name. I had named it "Jiminy Cricket."

Which, by the way, means that if my sidekick is Jiminy Cricket, I must be Pinocchio.

Under the circumstances, that particular alter ego is appropriate!
